Feed Lucas County Children, Inc. (FLCC), founded in 2002, is the advocate for the relief and elimination of child hunger in Lucas County.


Meeting an Urgent Need in Lucas County, Ohio

  • 20% of Lucas County Children live at or below the poverty level

  • Over 21,000 children do not receive balanced meals during the summer months

  • These children are anxious for school to re-open, not to learn, but to eat

  • Food bank and food subsidy programs don't adequately address the needs of children
